Concord Music GroupStevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks, Barry Manilow and Michael McDonald are among the stars appearing on an upcoming compilation featuring recordings by acclaimed sax player Dave Koz. Due out on July 31, Collaborations: 25th Anniversary Collection features songs that appeared on Koz’s own studio albums, as well as tracks he played on from other artists’ projects.

“Some my favorite moments in the last twenty-five years have been collaborations with people whom I just love and treasure, and from whom I’ve learned so much,” says Koz in a statement, “mentors and friends and people whom I never would have expected to meet.”

Wonder lends his vocals to a star-studded version of The Beatles‘ “All You Need Is Love,” which originally appeared on Dave’s 2014 holiday album The 25th of December. Johnny Mathis, Gloria Estefan, Richard Marx and several other singers also are featured on the tune.

The track featuring Stewart is a rendition of the standard “(I Love You) for Sentimental Reasons,” a tune from Rod’s own 2004 release, Stardust: The Great American Songbook Vol. 3. That album was one of four installments of Stewart’s Great American Songbook to which Koz contributed.

Nicks is featured on “Let Me Count the Ways,” from the 1996 Koz album Off the Beaten Path, while Manilow’s contribution is “Apartment 2G: I Hear Her Playing Music,” a tune from Barry’s 2001 concept album, Here at the Mayflower.

As for McDonald, the ex-Doobie Brothers singer is heard on a version of Tower of Power‘s “So Very Hard to Go” that hails from the 2013 Dave Koz & Friends: Summer Horns album.

Other stars who appear on Collaborations: 25th Anniversary Collection include Luther Vandross, Herb Alpert and country star Toby Keith. The album also features three brand-new recordings, among them a rendition of the Jackie Wilson classic “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher.” That song, which is the album’s first single, also featuring R&B singer Kenny Lattimore and trump player Rick Braun.
