CBS Broadcasting, Inc.Being stuck in traffic isn’t so bad when you’ve got Rod Stewart in the passenger seat. The singer was the latest guest to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden‘s “Carpool Karaoke” segment last night.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer cruised around Los Angeles with host James Corden and the two belted out several of Stewart’s classic hits: “The First Cut Is the Deepest, “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” “Maggie May” and The Faces‘ “Ooh La La.”

Rapper A$AP Rocky even jumped in the car at one point to rap along with his recent single, “Everyday,” which features a sample of Rod’s 1972 tune “In a Broken Dream.”

In between songs, Corden asked Stewart to share his “most rock and roll moment.” Rod replied, “There’s been so many…We were outrageous with The Faces. Just drinkin’ and a-shaggin’ and a-drinkin’ and a-shaggin’! That’s what we did — and smashing up hotel rooms.”

He admitted that the group was eventually banned from all Holiday Inns, so they used to check in as Fleetwood Mac. Stewart also revealed that it takes him about 10 minutes to complete his famous coif, and that he lost his virginity at age 15 to a “big girl” who later inspired the song “Maggie May.”
