Credit: Rebecca G. WilsonThe release of Kinks guitarist Dave Davies‘ upcoming live album, Rippin’ Up NYC, has been pushed back. The record, which had been scheduled to hit stores on August 18 now will arrive on September 4.

The album was recorded this past November during a two-night stand Davies played at the City Winery in New York City in support of his 2014 studio effort Rippin’ Up Time.

In other news, Dave has added some new shows to his previously announced fall U.S. tour. Among them are an October 2-4 engagement at The Big E fair in West Springfield, Massachusetts; an October 13 show in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; an October 23 concert in New York City; and a November 1 gig in Sacramento, California. The performances at The Big E will be free with the price of admission to the fair.
