Capitol RecordsRod Stewart fans can get a taste of the lauded singer’s upcoming studio album, Another Country, by checking out the exclusive premiere of the official video for his new song “Please” at Yahoo.com. The clip shows Stewart looking suave in a pink jacket and tie and black shirt and pants, as he performs the tune with a backing group in what appears to be a large warehouse.

“Please” is a soulful mid-tempo rock song, with blue-tinged guitar solos, a pulsing drum beat and Rod’s trademark reedy vocals. In the tune, Stewart sings to a potential love interest, “Stay with me tonight/I promise I will treat you right/Stay with me tonight/Under the cold, clear, cool moonlight/Please!”

Another Country, Stewart’s follow-up to 2013’s Time, will be released October 23. The album mostly features original songs penned by the 70-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.

Stewart’s next solo concert is scheduled for September 13 in London’s Hyde Park, but he’ll first take part in a recently announced reunion set with his fellow surviving Faces members — guitarist Ronnie Wood and drummer Kenney Jones — this Saturday, September 5, in Ewhurst, U.K. The one-off performance will be part of the 2015 Rock ‘n’ Horsepower charity event that Jones helps organize to raise awareness about prostate cancer. Rod also has three concerts lined up in Brazil later this month. Check out his complete tour itinerary at RodStewart.com.
