The film will be shown at 12:55 p.m. local time at theaters in 40 states. Visit to purchase tickets and find out more details about the event.

As previously reported, Roger Waters The Wall features footage from a few of the many shows that the ex-Pink Floyd star played during his 2010-2013 The Wall Live Tour. The concert was a dynamic multimedia experience that featured a full performance of Pink Floyd’s 1979 concept album The Wall, complete with a massive video screen, pyrotechnics, giant puppets and theatrical interludes.

The movie, which was directed by Waters and the trek’s co-creative director, Sean Evans, also includes segments showing Roger discussing his antiwar views while traveling to his grandfather’s grave in France and to the Italian memorial commemorating the World War II battle during which his father was killed.

In addition, the screenings will offer a specially filmed segment called The Simple Facts, featuring Waters and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason reuniting to answer questions that fans from around the world submitted.

In other news, Waters will join veteran session guitarist G.E. Smith for an intimate — and sold out — acoustic performance on October 30 at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, New York. The gig is part of the “Portraits” concert series that Smith is hosting at the venue.
