Credit: Pamela SpringsteenRobert Plant joined forces with bluegrass star Alison Krauss for 2007’s Raising Sand, a duets collection that became the rock legend’s most commercially successful — and arguably his most critically acclaimed — album since his days with Led Zeppelin. The record debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and went on to win six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

Now, Plant and Krauss have teamed up again for the first time since Raising Sand to record a new tune, “The Light of Christmas Day,” which will appear on the forthcoming soundtrack to the holiday film Love the Coopers. The album will be released on Friday, November 13, the same day the movie opens in theaters.

You can watch an official video for “The Light of Christmas Day,” which features scenes from Love the Coopers, now at CBS Films’ YouTube channel. The film stars Diane Keaton, John Goodman, Alan Arkin, Marisa Tomei, Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde.

The soundtrack also features songs by Bob Dylan, Otis Reddding, Sting and others. Here’s the full track list of the Love the Coopers Official Soundtrack Album:
