Andrew H. Walker/Getty ImagesDavid Bowie revealed three weeks ago that his 25th studio album, titled Blackstar, will be released January 8, his 69th birthday. While we’ve already gotten a taste of the title track, courtesy of the opening credits for the British drama The Last Panthers, we’ll have to wait just a bit longer to hear the entire song.

“’Blackstar’ will finally premiere in full on Thursday, November 19, 2015 along with its official accompanying short film,” says a statement this morning from Bowie’s PR people. You can catch a tease of the film now on YouTube.

What’s more, if you’re in Brooklyn, NY that day, you can attend a special theatrical premiere screening at the Nitehawk Cinema. If you can’t, no worries – the video will premiere around the world beginning at 3:50 p.m. ET on Palladia, capping the cable concert channel’s David Bowie video hour. It’ll also repeat that night at 8:50 p.m. ET.

Bowie’s last album was The Next Day in March, 2013. The surprise release earned the rock icon his first U.K. #1 album in 20 years, and peaked on the Billboard 200 at #2, his highest-ever showing on that chart. The Next Day was also nominated for the Best Rock Album Grammy.
