Jose Antonio Santiago was sentenced in Philadelphia to 319 months in prison for conspiracy to commit hostage taking, aiding and abetting the hostage taking, and aiding and abetting the possession of a firearm during a crime of violence. Santiago and his co-defendants took a victim hostage at gunpoint and held the victim for three days while negotiating a ransom.
