Ross HalfinZZ Top officially has announced plans to hit the road again this spring in North America. The Texas trio will embark on a new trek called The Hell Raisers Tour, which will get underway on March 18 in Thackerville, Oklahoma, and currently is mapped out through a previously reported May 6 headlining set at the Carolina Rebellion festival in Concord, North Carolina.

Among the cities the tour will visit are Winnipeg and Calgary, Canada; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Lubbock, Texas; Biloxi, Mississippi; Shreveport, Louisiana; Sarasota, Clearwater and Jacksonville, Florida; and Chattanooga, Tennessee. ZZ Top’s performance in Jacksonville takes place at the recently announced Welcome to Rockville Festival.

“ZZ is comin’ at’cha with the 2016 Hell Raisers Tour. We getting the road ready and know you, too, are ready to rock,” says frontman Billy Gibbons. “Gonna be a good, good time. Make that a ‘good LOUD time!'”

Prior to heading out on ZZ Top’s The Hell Raisers Tour, Gibbons will mount the second of two planned legs of his U.S. trek in support of his recently released Cuban-influenced solo album, Perfectamundo. The outing, which features Billy accompanied by his backing group The BFG’s, kicks off on January 20 in Washington, D.C., and runs through a February 6 gig in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
