Credit: Mitchell GlotzerGeorge Thorogood and the Destroyers will be b-b-b-b-b-b-back on the road in 2016, as the veteran rock ‘n’ roll band has lined up a tour of the U.S. and Canada that will run from late winter all the way into the summer. The Badder than Ever Tour kicks off February 26 in Biloxi, Mississippi, and is plotted out through a July 23 show in Florence, Indiana.

Thorogood and the Destroyers will make stops in 32 cities along the way, including Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, Texas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; St. Louis; Nashville; Charleston, South Carolina; Daytona Beach, Florida; and such Canadian locales as Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. The band’s itinerary also includes a two-night stand in the Vancouver suburb of Coquitlam, Canada.

The Destroyers lineup continues to feature founding drummer Jeff Simon, original bassist Bill Blough, rhythm guitarist Jim Suhler and saxophone player Buddy Leach. Last year, Thorogood released a stripped-down edition of his 1977 debut album, George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers, that featured versions of the band’s songs before Blough added his bass parts.
