The singer currently has six U.S. concerts lined up next year, including a run of four performances in late January in the Southeast, a March 31 concert in Manassas, Virginia, and a May 20 gig in Princeton, New Jersey.

In addition, the 74-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has mapped out a brief European leg that gets underway February 18 in Antwerp, Belgium, and makes stops in Paris and four German cities before winding down March 2 in Aalborg, Denmark.

Meanwhile, Garfunkel has plans to release an autobiography in 2016, and he’s posted a short preview from the book on his official website. In the excerpt, from page 172, he poetically reveals what he thinks about when he goes on the lengthy walks he has enjoyed for decades. Among the subjects he says creep into his thoughts is a memory of his old musical partner Paul Simon playing poker in high school. He notes, “Concealing his emotions, he consistently won.” Art also shares comments about and recollections of his wife, his father and his mother, specifically a pair of fur-lined gloves his mother gave him as a gift that he says moved him to tears.

Here are all of Garfunkel’s confirmed upcoming U.S. concerts:

1/26 — Birmingham, AL, Samford University
1/29 — Atlanta, GA, Buckhead Theatre
1/30 — Chattanooga, TN, Tivoli Theatre
1/31 — Nashville, TN, Ryman Auditorium
3/31 — Manassas, VA, Performing Arts Center
5/20 — Princeton, NJ, Princeton University
