At the concerts, Lynne and ELO will be accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by Thomas Wilkins. The shows, which are part of the venue’s 2016 summer concert series, also will feature a fireworks display. This will be the first time ELO has ever performed at the Hollywood Bowl.

Tickets for the concerts will be available at or by calling 323-850-2000323-850-2000. Venue subscriptions and group sales will go on sale Tuesday, February 9. Subscribers will be able to buy single tickets to the ELO shows beginning March 8, while tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 1.

In other news, Jeff Lynne’s ELO recently was announced as the first headliner for the 2016 Glastonbury Festival, which will be held June 22-26 near Pilton, U.K. The band’s set will take place on June 26 during the “Sunday teatime slot,” and will mark ELO’s debut performance at the famous fest.
