Elton John is defending himself against claims that he sexually harassed his former bodyguard, People reports.

The pop-rock legend’s ex-employee Jeffrey Wenninger is suing him for sexual harassment and battery, alleging that Elton made inappropriate advances toward him on three separate occasions in 2014. According to the suit obtained by TMZ, one alleged incident involved Elton putting his hands in Wenninger’s pants.

John’s attorney issued a statement saying Wenninger’s claims are just not true.

“This baseless lawsuit is brought by a disgruntled former security officer seeking to extract an undeserved payment,” lawyer Orin Snyder tells People. “These claims are patently untrue and contradicted by numerous previous statements made by this plaintiff. We will not give into his latest abuse of the legal system.”
