Credit: Jo LopezDoors guitarist Robby Krieger recently wrapped up a series of U.S. shows with his solo group in the Midwest, but he’s scheduled to return to the road later this month for a run of concerts in the Northeast.

Krieger’s new tour dates launch with an April 26 gig at City Winery in New York City, and also feature stops in New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The shows include an April 27 performance in Montclair, New Jersey, with special guest The Edgar Winter Band and an April 29 concert Huntington, New York, featuring Leslie West as the opening act.

In addition, Krieger is scheduled to visit Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta in June, Las Vegas in July and Kokomo, Indiana, in August.

The 70-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer recently told ABC Radio that he was working on a new solo album that he expected to put out before the summer, but no official details about the project have been announced yet.
