ABC affiliate WCHS reports that the vehicle, which was carrying at least 10 people, was traveling down Interstate 77 before veering off the roadway and down an embankment. Allman wasn’t on the bus during the crash.

WCHS reports the bus driver told sheriff’s deputies he crashed right after he choked on some coffee.

According to Allman’s publicist, three people were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. They were treated for minor injuries and have since been released.

Allman and his crew were traveling towards Charleston, West Virginia, for the founding Allman Brothers Band frontman’s solo show at the Clay Center tonight. The concert will still go on as scheduled.
