Paul Kane/Getty ImagesKISS will rock its way across the United States of America this summer on the Freedom to Rock tour. The trek, which will visit more than 36 cities, kicks off July 7 in Boise, Idaho, and is scheduled to wind down on September 10 in Huntington, West Virginia.

The tour will stop in more than 25 locations where the band hasn’t performed in at least 10 years, while the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will play their first shows ever in four of the cities.

Tickets for most of the dates go on sale to the public on Friday, April 15, while KISS Army fan club members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets starting on Tuesday, April 12.

Former American Idol winner Caleb Johnson will serve as the tour’s opening act through an August 8 show in Milwaukee, while The Dead Daisies — a band featuring former members of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Motley Crue — will support KISS at the remaining gigs.
