Big Machine RecordsThere’s been no shortage of activity lately in the Cheap Trick camp. In addition to their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the band’s new album — Bang, Zoom, Crazy…Hello — entered the Billboard chart at number 31, their highest debut since 1988.

If you’re hungry for a dose of ’80s Trick, April 29th will see the CD re-release of two of their albums on one CD. 1982’s One on One spawned the hits “She’s Tight” and “If You Want My Love,” while the following year’s Next Position Please was produced by Todd Rundgren and included the single “I Can’t Take It.”

Finally, the band’s 1998 biography, Reputation Is a Fragile Thing: The Story of Cheap Trick, is about to get a limited reprint and can be ordered now from co-author Ken Sharp’s website.
