Bryan Steffy/WireImageEmerson, Lake & Palmer drummer Carl Palmer will be joined by former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett and Vanilla Fudge keyboardist Mark Stein this summer for a special tribute show to late ELP keyboard player Keith Emerson.

This show, Pictures at an Exhibition — A Tribute to Keith Emerson, will feature Palmer’s ELP Legacy band with the special guests and performances by The Center for Contemporary Dance, interpreting ELP’s music in contemporary dance routines. The tribute show will be staged one night only, Friday, June 24, at the Olympia Theater in Miami.

The show will take place in the middle of Palmer’s Remembering Keith and the Music of Emerson, Lake & Palmer Tour, which begins June 2 in New York and continues through a July 12 show in Dallas. The tour was originally planned as a celebration of Palmer’s 50th anniversary in music, but its focus was changed to honor his former band mate after Emerson’s death in March.
