Peter Bischoff/Getty ImagesOn Sunday, the four members of ABBA reunited in Stockholm for their first performance together in 30 years at a private party celebrating the 50-year friendship of band mates Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, Sweden’s Expressen website reports. At the event, singers Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstand were joined by Ulvaeus and Andersson for an impromptu rendition of the 1980 ABBA tune “Me and I.”

This marked the first time ABBA played together since 1986, according to Billboard.

Speaking with Expressen about the event, Lyngstad said, “It was absolutely amazing. A lot of emotions…It’s been very nostalgic.”

Andersson added, “It’s been a great night.”

An attendee at the party has posted a photo on Instagram of the former band mates embracing during the event.

The four members of ABBA have rarely appeared together since the group disbanded in 1982. Most recently, they briefly gathered together in January at the opening of Ulvaeus’ new entertainment venture in Stockholm: Mamma Mia! The Party.
