iStock/ThinkstockPeople will be gathering together across the U.S. today to celebrate Independence Day and, as usual, a variety of music acts will help fans mark the occasion by playing concerts in various cities. Among the veteran artists who will entertain audiences are The Beach Boys, James Taylor and recently inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Chicago.

The Beach Boys will bring their sounds of summer to the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York. Taylor will perform at the renowned Tanglewood venue in Lennox, Massachusetts. Chicago will play a special show at Los Angeles’ famous Hollywood Bowl that will feature accompaniment by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
