Eagle Rock EntertainmentJourney‘s 2009 concert film Live in Manila will be reissued on September 9 as a multiple-disc package featuring a previously unreleased two-CD audio companion to the show. The reissue will be available as a DVD/two-CD set and a Blu-ray/two-CD, as well as in digital formats.

Live in Manila was filmed and recorded in March of 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia in Manila, Philippines. The concert was considered a homecoming show for Arnel Pineda, the Filipino singer who was hired as Journey’s new frontman in 2007.

The event was captured in high-resolution in front of a wildly enthusiastic audience. The concert included performances of such classic Journey songs as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Stone In Love,” “Open Arms,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin'” and more. It also showcased several tunes from the band’s then-new studio album, Revelation.

Journey currently is in the midst of a U.S. summer tour with The Doobie Brothers and special guest Dave Mason. You can check out the band’s full itinerary at JourneyMusic.com.
