He’s set to perform his debut solo single, “In the Air Tonight,” at the August 29 kickoff event. It’ll mark Phil’s first major public performance in six years.

“In the Air Tonight” also appears on Phil’s upcoming retrospective collection, The Singles, due out in October. That same month, the singer will release his autobiography, Not Dead Yet.

The opening ceremony for the annual tennis tournament will take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York, and will be televised by ESPN2.
