Credit: Jerry LoFaroThe Security Project, a Peter Gabriel tribute group featuring Gabriel’s former drummer Jerry Marotta and ex-King Crimson bassist Trey Gunn, will release its sophomore album, Live 2, on October 21.

The album features live performances of an interesting selection of Gabriel compositions, including the Genesis classic “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” and solo gems like “Father, Son” and “Mercy Street.” Live 2 can be pre-ordered now at The Security Project’s online store.

The band’s lineup also features former Shriekback guitarist Michael Cozzi, along with keyboardist David Jameson and singer Brian Cummins.

The Security Project will launch a series of U.S. shows in support of Live 2 in Milwaukee on the album’s release date. The band’s itinerary currently is mapped out through a November 4 concert in Shirley, Massachusetts, although more gigs are expected to be announced.
