Genesis PublicationsGeorge Harrison‘s I Me Mine — a collection of the late Beatles guitarist’s handwritten lyric sheets and written commentaries and memories first published in a limited edition in 1980 — is getting re-release in an expanded edition.

I Me Mine – The Extended Edition features 141 songs with commentaries, 50 of which are included for the first time. The 400-page tome covers Harrison’s boyhood in Liverpool through Beatlemania, and explores his love of India, cars and gardening.

The tracks range from Beatles classics like “Here Comes the Sun” to solo rarities like songs written for Sean Penn and Madonna film Shanghai Surprise and includes material from 1962 to 2001.

Also included are photos of Harrison with The Beatles, with Bob Dylan, at the Concert for Bangla Desh, including new photos from the Harrison family archives being published for the first time; an updated introduction by Olivia Harrison; and new cover art by Shepard Fairey.

The book arrives in the U.S. October 18 with a retail price of $55.
