Credit: Michael HelmsFormer Eagles guitarist Don Felder has been chosen for induction into Nashville’s Musicians Hall of Fame as part of the institution’s class of 2016. In conjunction with his induction, Felder will be presented with the Iconic Riff Award acknowledging his contributions to the Eagles’ enduring hit “Hotel California.”

The 2016 Musicians Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held October 26 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tickets for the gala go on sale this Monday, September 12, at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster.com.

Among the Hall of Fame’s other honorees this year are Garth Brooks and his backing band The G-Men, Ricky Skaggs and the late Jerry Reed.

“Such an amazing honor and the people that run it are really great folks,” writes Felder in a message posted on his official Facebook page.
