Andrew Lipovsky/NBCBarry Gibb dropped by The Tonight Show on Wednesday to plug his first solo album in 30 years, In the Now, available on iTunes. He also duetted with his 1970s self — played by host Jimmy Fallon — in a prerecorded segment called “Silhouette Singing.”

Fallon set up the bit by joking that the 70-year-old former member of the Bee Gees has a little-known children’s show, called “Silhouette Singing,” in which he gets together with 1970s Barry Gibb and the two sound out different words and harmonize them. The subject on Wednesday was fall-themed words.

Gibb returned later in the show for a performance of the title track from his album, In the Now.
