Richard E. Aaron/RedfernsIt’s a rock and roll staple, but you’ve likely never heard it like this before. On the upcoming collection of BBC recordings Queen on Air due November 4th, the legendary rock group Queen has released a fast version of “We Will Rock You,” recorded in 1977 for legendary DJ John Peel.

Rolling Stone reports that the two-disc compilation features 24 songs from the band’s sessions with BBC radio. The energetic recording of the arena anthem was tracked the same day the album News of the World, which features the song, was released, and marks the only time the band played this version in the studio.

The band is also releasing a six-disc deluxe edition of Queen on Air featuring 220 minutes of interviews and radio appearances, as well as live concert broadcasts from London in 1973, Brazil in 1981 and Germany in 1986.
