Courtesy of Record Store DayIt’s the time of year again that brings joy to vinyl lovers everywhere. The Record Store Day campaign has unveiled its list of exclusive releases for its 2016 Black Friday event, to be held in independent record stores November 25. The eclectic list of limited-edition releases includes discs from The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Monkees, The Kinks and The Cars.

The Stones will release their cover of blues great Eddie Taylor‘s 1955 song “Ride ‘Em on Down” as a 10-inch vinyl single. The track also will appear on the band’s forthcoming album Blue & Lonesome, due out December 2.

The Beach Boys’ Black Friday offering is a 19-song LP titled Becoming The Beach Boys that includes selections from a recent compilation of the group’s earliest recordings. The release is available randomly on red, blue and yellow vinyl.

The Monkees will issue an opaque-red-vinyl, 10-inch EP called Good Times! Plus! that features four non-LP tracks the group recorded during the sessions for their 2016 album, Good Times!

The Kinks will contribute four separate releases to the initiative, including a black-and-white-swirled-vinyl version of their 1978 LP Sleepwalker; and three seven-inch EPs, each featured four tracks dating from between 19654 and 1971.

The Cars will release a seven-inch picture disc that features two tracks from the band’s 1978 self-titled debut album — the hit “Just What I Needed” and “I’m in Touch with Your World.”

In addition, the 2016 installment of Record Store Day Black Friday will include releases from The Turtles, Otis Redding, Alice Cooper, The Bangles, Foreigner, Jerry Garcia, Isaac Hayes, Harry Nilsson, Prince, Frank Sinatra, The Yardbirds and, as previously reported, Jimi Hendrix.
