Courtesy of The Rock PackThe Rock Pack, a musical collective featuring the current and former frontmen of various famous bands, will perform at a special one-off concert event on December 16 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix. Among the well-known artists featured at the show are Cheap Trick‘s Robin Zander, founding Santana singer/keyboardist Gregg Rolie, original Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm, The TubesFee Waybill, one-time Journey vocalist Steve Augeri and former Asia singer John Payne.

“I decided to create a unique concert concept that was start to finish full of monster hits by iconic vocalists,” says Payne, who put together The Rock Pack.

The concert, which will run about two hours, will feature each singer sharing some stories about their careers and experiences with their famous groups before performing a few of their best-known tunes. The stage setup will be enhanced by large video screens.

Among the many classic songs concertgoers can expect to hear are Foreigner’s “I Wanna Know What Love Is,” complete with a gospel choir; Cheap Trick’s “I Want You to Want Me”; Santana’s “Black Magic Woman”; Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'”; The Tubes’ “She’s a Beauty”: and Asia’s “Heat of the Moment.”
