Credit: Gregg RothPeter Frampton recently wrapped up the latest leg of his series of unplugged concerts, but the veteran guitar whiz already has announced a new run of shows that will take place in the spring of next year.

Frampton’s 2017 “Raw: An Acoustic Tour” itinerary, which currently features eight dates, kicks off on March 24 in New Albany, Ohio, and is mapped out through an April 12 gig in Rutland, Vermont.

Among the other cities Peter will visit are Nashville, Cleveland and Kingston, New York. Tickets for all of the concerts are on sale now. The shows support Frampton’s latest studio album, Acoustic Classics, which was released in February. The record features stripped-down renditions of many of Peter’s best-known tunes, including “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way,” “Do You Feel Like We Do” and “I’m in You.”

Prior to the new unplugged tour leg, Frampton perform with his full electric band on the previously announced Rock & Romance Cruise, which runs from March 11 to March 16. The seagoing music extravaganza will be hosted by Brady Bunch star Barry Williams, and will include performances by ’70s/early ’80s hitmakers like America, ex-Three Dog Night singer Chuck Negron, Little River Band, Christopher Cross, Ambrosia, Orleans, Stephen Bishop, Firefall and Player.
