Brian Rasic/WireImageEric Clapton has announced his only North American shows for 2017: a very limited engagement that will see Slowhand play arenas in New York and Los Angeles.

Clapton will play New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, March 19 and Monday, March 20, then follow up those dates with two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26.

The shows are in direct contradiction to a note Clapton wrote in a tour program last year, in which he stated, “I swear this is it, no more…”

Fellow guitar whizzes Gary Clark Jr. and Jimmie Vaughan will be special guests at the shows, which are being presented by Chase. Chase customers can grab tickets December 1 starting at noon ET via Ticketmaster. The general public can buy them December 3 starting at 10 a.m. local time.
