Ari MichaelsonNeil Diamond will mark five decades in music next year by launching a 50th Anniversary world tour.

The trek kicks off April 7 in Fresno, CA and will move across North America, wrapping up August 12 at L.A.’s Forum. Then, Diamond will head to Europe and the U.K., with those dates being announced soon. Tickets go on sale to the general public on December 9 via, but America Express Card Members can grab them starting Monday, December 5 at 10 a.m.

In a statement, Live Nation head Michael Rapino said, “Neil Diamond is more than just a music icon. His singular artistry and talent has left an indelible mark on American culture and has helped shape the sound of popular music for five decades.”

Over the years, Diamond has sold 125 million albums worldwide. His current album is Acoustic Christmas.
