Credit: Paul HaggardThe Steve Miller Band has announced initial dates for a spring U.S. tour that will visit a variety of cities in the Southeast. The trek, which currently features eight confirmed shows, kicks off March 23 in Huntsville, Alabama, and runs through an April 2 concert in St. Augustine, Florida.

The run of dates includes a March 24-25 at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium that will feature country veteran Marty Stuart and his group The Fabulous Superlatives as the opening act. In addition, roots rockers Los Lonely Boys will support Miller and his band at the St. Augustine gig.

Miller, who recently wrapped up an eventful year that saw him inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and play more than 50 shows, promises to announce more 2017 dates soon.

4/2 — St. Augustine, FL, Saint Augustine Amphitheater
