Credit: Jill FurmanovskyThe Pretenders will visit the Austin City Limits stage on Monday, March 13, to tape their debut performance for the long-running PBS series. To mark the special occasion, the entire show will be streamed live at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on the program’s official YouTube channel.

The concert, which will be held at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, also will be taped for an episode of Austin City Limits that will air during the show’s upcoming 43rd season. The performance will be taking place during an off day of The Pretenders’ current U.S. tour with Stevie Nicks, which is mapped out through an April 6 concert in Uniondale, New York. Frontwoman Chrissie Hynde and her group, which also includes founding drummer Martin Chambers, also will be playing a few headlining dates during the outing.

The Pretenders continue to promote their 2016 studio album, Alone, which was recorded in collaboration with and produced by Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach. The band’s next scheduled concert is an opening set in support of Nicks taking place Wednesday in Memphis.
