Synergy Global EntertainmentEddie Money, Foghat and The Marshall Tucker Band are among the artists who will perform at select stops of a new touring comedy and music festival created by popular comics Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy that will launch this summer. The trek, dubbed Jeff & Larry’s Backyard BBQ Festival, currently includes five confirmed stops, kicking off August 25 in Clarkston, Michigan, and plotted out through a September 15 performance in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Each festival date will feature more than six hours of performances, including stand-up comedy and music from a changing lineup of artists. The event also will feature food from local barbecue vendors, plus various activities, including dunk tanks, backyard games and more.

“Let’s be honest. If we didn’t have music and laughter we’d all go crazy!” says Foxworthy. “We’re trying to bring folks a double dose of both in one night. I can’t wait to kick this off and keep my sanity in check! “

Adds Larry the Cable Guy, “If you don’t like this tour you need your American credentials taken away! This is gonna rock! I’m glad to be a part of such a fun event. I might even get to sing! (Only at sound check).”

Tickets for the first two festival dates go on sale to the general public beginning this Saturday, March 11, at Citi card members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets via the Citi Private Pass program starting Tuesday, March 7, at 10 a.m. local time.
