PRNewsfoto/Legacy RecordingsVeteran U.K. pop/R&B artist Billy Ocean will release a new album titled Here You Are: The Music of My Life this summer that includes one brand-new song, newly recorded covers of tunes by artists who influenced and inspired him, and the original versions of five of his biggest hits.

The single-CD and digital collection, which is an abridged version of a two-disc set issued in the U.K. last year, will hit stores on July 21.

The new song on Here You Are is the title track, while the covers include such classics as Sam Cooke‘s “A Change Is Gonna Come” and “Having a Party,” Bob Marley‘s “No Woman No Cry,” Frank Sinatra‘s “It Was a Very Good Year” and The O’Jays‘ “Love Train.”

Rounding out the new album are Ocean’s ’80s hits “Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run),” “Suddenly,” “Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car,” “When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going” and “There’ll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry),” all of which broke into the top five of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.

Here You Are will be released while Ocean is touring as part of Replay America: The Ultimate 80s Festival trek, marking his first U.S. tour dates in 20 years. The trek, which officially kicks off June 4 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, also features Taylor Dayne, Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas and, on select dates, The Motels, Naked Eyes and Greg Kihn. You can check out the tour’s entire schedule at ReplayAmerica.com.
