Newberry – The Department of Natural Resources’ Eastern Upper Peninsula Citizens’ Advisory Council (CAC) will meet Thursday, August 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Luce Mackinac Alger Schoolcraft District Health Department building, 14150 Hamilton Lake Road, in Newberry.

The council will hear division reports from DNR staff, in addition to updates on the Wildlife Division realignment plan, the Regional Deer Advisory Team, Garnet Lake State Forest Campground, wolf depredation funding, and Living Legacies/Biodiversity Stewardship Areas.

Other agenda items include solving public mis-perceptions of DNR issues, Naubinway Marina, Menominee River Headwaters Forest Project, and muskie and northern pike regulations.
