Joel will appear on the second-season opener of Harry, Harry Connick Jr.’s syndicated talk show, on Tuesday, September 12.

In addition to a solo performance, Billy will duet with Harry on one of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s classic hits.

The show claims this will be Joel’s first daytime-TV appearance in “over a decade,” but according to his website, Billy’s last visit to a daytime talk show was in 2008, on Oprah.

Joel currently is touring stadiums, with a show at Boston’s Fenway Park taking place tonight, August 30, and stops in Philadelphia and St. Louis in September. He also has his regular monthly residency shows scheduled at New York’s Madison Square Garden through December. Newsday, his hometown paper, says a decision will be made soon about extending the MSG residency into 2018.
