Nonesuch/Warner Bros. RecordsRobert Plant has premiered a second song from his upcoming solo album, Carry Fire, which will be released on October 13. The track, titled “Bones of Saints,” can be heard now on YouTube and also is available via various digital music sellers and streaming services.

“Bones of Saints” finds the Led Zeppelin singer and his current band, The Sensational Space Shifters, blending a variety of genres, including folk, blues, classic rock ‘n’ roll, modern rock and psychedelia.

Plant first announced details about Carry Fire two weeks ago, and he released the first song from the 11-track album, “The May Queen,” along with an accompanying lyric video that same day. Fans pre-ordering the record will immediately receive free downloads of “The May Queen” and “Bones of Saints.”

Carry Fire features a guest appearance by The PretendersChrissie Hynde on a cover of the 1958 Ersel Hickey song “Bluebirds over the Mountain.”

Meanwhile, Plant has announced dates for a fall tour of the U.K. and Ireland that kicks off November 16 and wraps up December 12 . The rock legend is also expected to reveal plans for a North American trek soon.
