Columbia Records/Legacy RecordingsIt’s time for another deep dive into Bob Dylan’s catalog.

Bob Dylan — Trouble No More — The Bootleg Series Vol. 13/1979-1981 arrives on November 3. The comprehensive eight-disc package also comes with a bonus DVD and covers the period in which Dylan released three albums directly influenced by personal and religious transformation: 1979’s Slow Train Coming, 1980’s Saved, and 1981’s Shot of Love.

All but one of the tracks on Trouble No More are previously unreleased versions. The set also includes 14 previously unreleased songs, as well as previously unheard live performances and rare studio outtakes. The deluxe box comes with a hardcover book featuring an introduction by Dylan scholar Ben Rollins and specially curated liner notes.

The feature-length bonus DVD, dubbed Trouble No More: A Musical Film, combines unreleased footage from Dylan’s 1980 tours, including a rare live version of “Shot of Love,” with new material performed by Oscar-nominated actor Michael Shannon.

Trouble No More will also be available in two-CD and four-LP configurations comprised of the first two discs from the deluxe box.

The previous two volumes in Columbia/Legacy’s Bob Dylan Bootleg series each took home the Best Historical Album Grammy Award. For complete track listings for all eight discs and other Trouble No More info, check out Dylan’s official website.
