Eagle Rock EntertainmentThe new audio/video packages documenting the special, star-studded August 2016 concert Jeff Beck played at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles celebrating his 50-year music career gets its release today.

Jeff Beck: Live at the Hollywood Bowl is available as DVD/two-CD and Blu-ray/two-CD sets, and as a DVD/three-LP vinyl collection.

The concert featured guest appearances by Aerosmith‘s Steven Tyler, ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons and blues legend Buddy Guy, among others. The show saw Beck and company playing material from throughout the legendary British guitarist’s half-century career, including tunes by The Yardbirds and The Jeff Beck Group, and songs from Jeff’s latest solo effort, 2016’s Loud Hailer.

Also performing at the concert were ex-Wet Willie frontman Jimmy Hall, former Jeff Beck Group keyboardist Jan Hammer, and veteran blues-rock singer Beth Hart.

Tyler lent his trademark vocals to renditions of The Yardbirds’ “Train Kept A-Rollin'” and “Shapes of Things,” Gibbons joined Beck for a version of ZZ Top’s “Rough Boy,” and Guy teamed up with Beck for a performance of Buddy’s “Let Me Love You.”

Bringing the concert to a close was a rousing version of the late Prince‘s “Purple Rain,” featuring Hart on vocals.

You can check out a clip of Tyler performing “Train Kept A-Rollin'” and a trailer for Live at the Hollywood Bowl at Beck’s official VEVO YouTube channel.
