ABC/Image Group LASmokey Robinson is one of the many stars who will be performing on the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow. The Motown legend ells ABC Radio that the festive event will not only give him the chance to celebrate the holiday but also the recent release of his new album.

“I have a new CD out, a Christmas record. It’s called Christmas Everyday,” Robinson points out. “And it’s available on Amazon, and so I’m doing the parade.”

Smokey, who reports that he previously took part in the Macy’s parade “many, many years ago,” says the event “is a fun time and it’s celebrating one of our biggest holidays.” He adds with a laugh, “And then after that, I go eat.”

Among the many artists who’ll be riding on floats and singing during the parade are Patti LaBelle, Goo Goo Dolls, Wyclef Jean, 98 Degrees, Flo Rida, Common, Andra Day, Andy Grammer and country stars Sara Evans, Cam, Lauren Alaina and Dustin Lynch.

In addition, the event will include appearances by the Muppets and cast members of Sesame Street, and Miss America 2018, Cara Mund, not to mention 1,000 clowns, 1,100 cheerleaders and dancers, 12 marching bands, 17 giant balloons and 26 floats.

The 91st Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, hosted by Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker, airs on NBC at 9 a.m. in all time zones. The show will encore at 2 p.m.
