Jean Baptiste Lacroix/WireImageDavid Cassidy passed away Tuesday at the age of 67, surrounded by his loved ones. And now his daughter, Katie, has revealed the Partridge Family star’s final words.

“My father’s last words were ‘so much wasted time,'” Katie Cassidy wrote Friday on Twitter. “This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute…thank you.”

She added, “Words can’t express the solace our family’s received from all the love & support during this trying time.”

The 31-year-old Katie, who stars on the superhero series Arrow on The CW, is the late singer/actor’s daughter from his relationship with former model Sherry Williams.

David Cassidy was best known for starring in The Partridge Family, playing heartthrob Keith Partridge. The sitcom, which centered on a widow who plays in a touring music group with her five children, ran from 1970 to 1974. David sold millions of records as the fictional group’s lead singer and as a solo artist.

Cassidy, who struggled with alcoholism in recent years, announced earlier this year he was suffering from dementia and was retiring from performing. He died of complications of the disease.
