Credit: Jess GriffinHeart has been on the inactive list since a 2016 rift between singer Ann Wilson and her sister, guitarist Nancy Wilson, and it looks the hiatus is extending into the New Year. Ann has lined up a new series of shows with her Ann Wilson of Heart solo project that kicks off January 12 in Charenton, Louisiana.

Ann has seven confirmed dates on her schedule, which currently is mapped out through an April 8 concert in St. Charles, Illinois. Her backing band includes Heart guitarist Craig Bartok, who also played with Ann’s recent side project The Ann Wilson Thing; The Ann Wilson Thing bassist Andy Stoller; ex-Heart drummer/percussionist Denny Fongheiser; and keyboardist Dan Walker.

Meanwhile, Nancy recently formed a band called Roadcase Royale with ex-Prince backing vocalist Liv Warfield, guitarist and Prince protégé Ryan Waters and three Heart members: keyboardist Chris Joyner, drummer Ben Smith and bassist Dan Rothchild.

That group released its debut album, First Things First, in September and had been serving as the opening act for Bob Seger on his recent tour, until it was put on hold due to Seger’s need for neck surgery. No new Roadcase Royale dates have been scheduled since then.

Here are all of Ann’s confirmed 2018 tour dates:

1/12 — Charenton, LA, Cypress Bayou Casino
1/13 — Biloxi, MS, IP Casino
1/14 — Grayton Beach, FL, 30A Songwriters Festival
2/9 — Tacoma, WA, Emerald Queen Casino
4/4 — Detroit, MI, Motor City Hotel
4/7 — Northfield, OH, Hard Rock Rocksino
4/8 — St. Charles, IL, Arcada Theatre
