Credit: Matt Christine PhotographyHall & Oates singer John Oates has extended his 2018 solo tour supporting his forthcoming album, Arkansas, into March. Oates has added six dates the trek, spanning from a February 18 show in Annapolis, Maryland, through a March 16 concert in Houston.

On the tour, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be backed at his concerts by The Good Road Band, a collective of respected Nashville session musicians who also played on Arkansas. The trek, which kicks off January 14 in Morgantown, West Virginia, now features a total of 14 shows, with more expected to be added.

The 14 shows don’t include the performances John will play during his “Live at the Lake: A Weekend with John Oates” getaway taking place February 23-25 at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee resort in Greensboro, Georgia. The three-day event will include a Q&A session and acoustic performance, an intimate concert and much more.

Oates also will be playing a New Year’s Eve concert with Daryl Hall in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

As previously reported, Arkansas will be released on February 2 on CD, vinyl and digitally. The album is a collection of songs that pay homage to Oates’ love of American roots music.
