Two veteran rockers are giving their existing biographies the deluxe treatment in 2018.

Three Dog Night singer Chuck Negron is adding 11 new chapters and more than 100 photos to his biography Three Dog Nightmare: The Chuck Negron Story, which was originally released in 2000.

Negron, now 75, has lived a life of ups and downs, stating, “As a shy adolescent growing up in The Bronx, NY, I never dreamed I would have lived the life I eventually did. From the exhilarating rollercoaster ride of fame and fortune, to the pathetic life of a heroin addict, to redemption, sobriety and a new opportunity to be a respected man.”

The new update, which is being called the “final edition” of the book, will be available March 13. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at Amazon.com and ChuckNegron.com.

Meanwhile, original Alice Cooper group guitarist Michael Bruce is offering up a deluxe box set edition of his book, No More Mr. Nice Guy, which also originally came out in 2000. The tome is a biography and anthology of the Alice Cooper group’s rise in the 1970s.

The new box set contains a signed certificate, a 1996 interview CD and reproduction of Alice Cooper group memorabilia. It is limited to 250 copies and is signed by Bruce.

“It’s not often we get a chance to redo, remake or in this case re-release a book…my book,” says Bruce. “It is with much thought, great enjoyment, many thanks and heartfelt appreciation for family, friends and fans that I present the re-release of No More Mr Nice Guy. A compilation of hilarious rock ‘n’ roll stories and life events that made me the man I am today.”

Pre-orders for the No More Mr. Nice Guy box set are available at PledgeMusic.com.
