Saturday, March 16, 2013, Munising Township Office Complex, Prospect St., Wetmore, MI. 10am to 4pm.

Free event.
Groups will work on quilts for our “returning military project.”. They will be making quilts for Alger Co. service men & women returning from deployment.

The quilts will be displayed at the Historical Society during June & July, then distributed.

All public is invited to join us. Children need to have an accompanying adult.

No quilting or sewing experience is required. There are plenty of ‘non-sewing’ jobs to be done.

Those who attend may bring a sewing machine and basic supplies if available, but these are not required.
Lunch will be provided by guild members.
Participants may come for all or part of the day.

RSVP is appreciated, but not necessary. Groups will be assigned with members who can help less experienced quilters. RSVP to Joann Hansen, 906-573-2518.

Hi Joann, we spend 5 months a year at our cottage in Steuben MI (June – Oct.) I am interested in joining a quilt guild. Can you email me more information about Munising Bay Quilt Guild? Thanks, Nan Morey
