Roman RecordsAerosmith guitarist Joe Perry will return to his hometown of Boston this Thursday, January 25, for a special in-store signing session promoting his new solo album, Sweetzerland Manifesto. The event will take place at the Newbury Comics store on Newbury St. in Boston, and will begin at 6 p.m. ET.

To attend the event, fans must have a wristband, which will be handed out to those purchasing a copy of Sweetzerland Manifesto at the store. To receive an autograph from Perry, you must buy a CD.

As previously reported, the album, which was released on Friday, is a 10-track collection featuring nine songs written or co-written by Perry, as well as a cover of the 1960s protest anthem “Eve of Destruction.”

Various guest artists contributed to the project, including Cheap Trick‘s Robin Zander, David Johansen, British blues-rock veteran Terry Reid, Joe’s Hollywood Vampires band mate Johnny Depp and longtime Who touring drummer Zak Starkey.

Perry celebrated Sweetzerland Manifesto‘s release with a star-studded concert on January 16 at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. Joe was joined at the show by Zander, Johansen, Reid, Depp, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, ex-Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, Extreme frontman Gary Cherone and Stone Temple Pilots members Dean and Robert DeLeo, among others.

Speaking with Rolling Stone at the concert, Perry revealed that Hollywood Vampires, which also features Alice Cooper, will begin recording a new album this month. The supergroup has a 2018 European tour that’s scheduled to run from a May 28 concert in Moscow through a July 8 show in Rome. The band also is expected to eventually announce some U.S. gigs.
