Parlophone RecordsTwo David Bowie albums, 1973’s Aladdin Sane and the long-out-of print 1981 compilation ChangesTwoBowie, will be reissued in April.

A limited-edition silver-vinyl version of Aladdin Sane will be released April 20 in honor of the album’s 45th anniversary, and will be available exclusively at record stores, not online. The new LP will feature co-producer Ken Scott‘s 2013 remaster.

Aladdin Sane, which peaked at #17 on the Billboard 200 and topped the U.K. chart, includes memorable Bowie tunes like “The Jean Genie,” “Panic in Detroit” and “Cracked Actor,” as well as a cover The Rolling Stones‘ “Let’s Spend the Night Together.” The album, which features Bowie’s famous backing band The Spiders from Mars, was certified gold in the U.S. for sales of 500,000 units.

ChangesTwoBowie will be reissued on April 13 as a 180-gram vinyl LP, a CD digipak and multiple digital formats, and also will be made available for streaming that day. The 10-track album was a follow-up to the 1976 best-of ChangesOneBowie, and features a variety of hits and standout tracks that Bowie released from 1971 through 1980. Among the tunes on the compilation are “Starman,” “1984,” “John, I’m Only Dancing (Again),” and the single versions of “Ashes to Ashes,” “Fashion” and “D.J.”

The vinyl edition of the ChangesTwoBowie reissue will initially be available randomly in either black or blue vinyl, while subsequent runs of the LP will only be pressed on black vinyl.

In addition, ChangesOneBowie will be released on high-resolution digital formats and will be made available via streaming services on April 13.
