Genesis PublicationsA limited-edition coffee-table book celebrating Eric Clapton‘s five star-studded Crossroads Guitar Festivals, which were held in 1999, 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2013, will be published in May. Sunshine of Your Love: The Crossroads Festivals 1999-2013: Eric Clapton and Friends features more than 350 photos of the various artists who performed at the events, as well as a 36,000-word manuscript including previously unpublished interviews with some of the musicians.

A Collector’s Edition of the book is available for pre-order now, with only 1,650 copies being produced. It comes packaged with a seven-inch vinyl picture disc featuring live performances by Clapton of “Wonderful Tonight” and “Got to Get Better in a Little While” from the 1999 and 2013 festivals, respectively. Each copy will be signed by at least three musicians who played at the festivals.

Clapton organized the Crossroads Guitar Festivals to raise money for his Crossroads Centre addiction-rehab facility on the island of Antigua. The 1999 and 2013 events were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the 2004 event took place at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, and the 2007 and 2010 fests were at Toyota Park outside of Chicago.

Among the many famous artists who joined Clapton to perform at the various festivals were Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers Band, Joe Walsh, Robbie Robertson, Steve Winwood, Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Steve Cropper, Buddy Guy and B.B. King.
